PEKING UNIVERSITY

Peking University’s Men’s Basketball Team rose to national prominence in the 2010s after becoming an official varsity program and has since become a dominant force in CUBAL. They captured their first national title in 2014 and followed it with a remarkable three-peat from 2017 to 2019. With four national championships, seven Northeast Regional titles, and 14 Top 8 finishes—most recently reaching the Final Four in 2025—Peking has consistently been among the league’s elite. Along the way, they’ve produced talent for both the CBA and the Chinese national team. Notable historic players include Zhang Ning, Zhu Mingzhen, and Wang Shaojie.
