KONKUK UNIVERSITY

Founded in 1967, Konkuk University’s Men’s Basketball Team has been a proud part of the school’s athletic tradition. Under the leadership of coaches Hwang Joon-sam and Moon Hyuk-joo since 2008, the team has steadily risen in the Korean U-League ranks—racking up wins, discovering top talent, and sending players on to the pros. In 2024, they finished third in the regular season and were runners-up in the playoffs, marking their second overall playoff runner-up finish. Notable players include Jun Young Kim, Freddy Mbuyi, and Chan Yeong Yeo.
