KU led by as many as 19 and UP were in front for a total of 17 seconds. Seok Jun Hwi had 14 points and 8 assists, and Kim Jeong Hyun Daniel added 14 with 8 rebounds. GAME RECAP

Korea University won Group B in their first AUBL campaign, beating UP 70-60 to finish the group stage unbeaten.

The lead changed hands 7 times in the 1st quarter and not once after it. Kim Jeong Hyun Daniel (김정현다니엘) made 4 3-pointers before the half and Korea University took a 40-30 lead into the break.

Seok Jun Hwi (석준휘) took over from there, scoring 8 of his 14 points in the 3rd as the lead stretched to 19. His 8 assists follow the 9 he had against Hakuoh, the second and third best passing games of AUBL26 behind Eiji Shimoyama's 10.

Despite pulling down 19 offensive rebounds during the game, UP could not make them count - finishing 31.7% from the field on the night. Elliot Dimaculangan, Francis Veejay Pre and Jalen Isagani Stevens took 4 offensive rebounds apiece.

Rey-Adrian Remogat led UP with 15 and they won the 4th quarter 19-12, closing the final margin to 10.

LOOKING AHEAD

Korea University win Group B at 2-0 and UP finish second at 1-1, with both through to the AUBL26 quarterfinals. The University of Sydney, in their first AUBL appearance, head to the placement games.

KU will face the loser of tonight's Group A game between Waseda and Tsinghua, and UP will take the winner. That one tips off at 17:00 HKT — tune in to see who claims the top seed and who KU and UP end up facing.
