AUBL Partners with MCBA, Hosts Hoop Scholars Clinic in Mongolia

AUBL has partnered with the Mongolian Collegiate Basketball Association (MCBA) to expand into Mongolia, highlighted by the launch of its Hoop Scholars Championship Clinic Tour in Ulaanbaatar.
On April 15, 2026, AUBL and the Mongolian Collegiate Basketball Association (MCBA) officially entered into a partnership agreement.
This partnership marks an important step in AUBL’s continued growth across Asia, bringing together a shared vision for the future of collegiate basketball in Mongolia and the wider region. It represents a joint commitment to elevating Mongolian university talent on an international stage, while also reinforcing both organizations’ commitment to youth development and grassroots growth. Just as importantly, it sets the stage for future AUBL regular-season games in Mongolia, giving local fans the chance to experience international collegiate basketball up close.
Beyond signing a partnership agreement with the MCBA, AUBL Hoop Scholars (AHS) marked an important milestone by hosting the first stop of the AHS – Championship Clinic Tour in Ulaanbaatar.
Held alongside the MCBA Finals at the MBank Arena, the clinic brought together high school student-athletes for a focused development experience, connecting them directly with the collegiate level of the game. Led by AUBL’s Greg Stolt and supported by players from Etugen University, sessions emphasized core skills, game application, and a deeper understanding of what it takes to compete at the next level.
The Mongolia stop represents more than just a clinic. It reflects AUBL’s commitment to building sustainable basketball ecosystems by working closely with local partners and engaging the next generation of players in each market. This is just the beginning of the Championship Clinic Tour — and we look forward to bringing AUBL Hoop Scholars to more cities across Asia.
