GAME RECAP
Shanghai Jiao Tong opened AUBL26 with a 61-53 win over the National University of Mongolia, holding the lead the entire way. NUM missed 14 of their first 16 shots and trailed 16-4 after the 1st, then went into halftime down 31-16 with Chen Tiancan (陈天灿) contributing 11.
NUM came back in the 3rd, outscoring SJTU 26-14 to cut a 17-point deficit down to 3 heading into the 4th. The pressure defense that forced 27 turnovers on the night fueled the run, and Buyan-Arvijikh Purevkhishig (Буян-Арвижих) had 13 points and 10 rebounds in NUM's first AUBL game.
SJTU answered with a 10-4 start to the 4th and closed it out behind Chen, whose 20 points led all scorers.
